A fun and eclectic vision of the Telluride bar, The Suede Bar is the perfect place to lift your glass after a day on the ski slopes. Elegant Suede Bar is the social epicenter of Capella Telluride, where guests can enjoy a relaxing lunch between spa treatments or reconnect with family and friends for après-ski aperitifs. It promises a departure from the casual lodge pub, providing guests with an upscale meeting space fashioned with dark timbres, supple leather, locally quarried stones and a lounge area surrounding a roaring fire. In addition to local brews and European wines and champagnes, Suede Bar will also feature signature cocktails.
Lunch at Suede Bar (12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.) offers a chic spin on casual American cuisine. Guests and locals can dive into Chili Verde with Pork ($10), a slow cooked Colorado Lamb Shank Panini ($16) and The Macrobiotic ($21), a specialty plate featuring steamed king salmon, quinoa, tempe, arame corn salad and arugula Frisee salad. Suede Bar's après-ski menu is available daily (3:00 - 5:00 p.m.) and highlights local Colorado micro brews complemented by sophisticated small plates from and innovative tapas bar menu, including Senora Cactus Fries ($10) and Chorizo Mac & Cheese ($11).
Additionally, Suede Bar will serve dinner (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) from its Mountain Village Comfort Specials menu ($19), which features hearty meals paired with an appropriate wine or micro-brew to complement the daily dish. Examples include Mondays Marinated Roasted Free Range Chicken, paired with a Gunderloch Reisling Kabinett from Rheinhessen, Germany. On Saturday evenings, Chef Gilbert will create his famous Pad Thai Noodles, served with a Hou-Hou-Shu Sparkling Sake.
